As a personal project, I decided to learn the vertical video format popularized by TikTok and Instagram Reels. I created several videos based on content that I enjoy watching, clips from podcasts, and educational videos.

  • Aporia GG

    Problem

Aporia was a new Call of Duty Esports organization competing in the Challenger Series. They needed a video editor to create promotional materials and social media posts.

    Result

All media that I created for Aporia amassed over 200k impressions across social channels. The team was a fan favorite in the Challengers series for Call of Duty esports.

  • Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez

    Problem

Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez, or the face of the “Wutface” Twitch emote was running a community tournament for the video game Valorant. He wanted a short announcement video that he could play on his stream.

    Result

After being referred to me by a mutual friend, I edited a short video utilizing Adobe products like: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.

  • DIY HomeCenter

    Problem

DIY Home Center is an ecommerce store that sells outdoor living products. Think from patio furniture to LED deck rails. Most users didn’t know how to use the color match feature on their site. It would match the appropriate plugs and rails for whichever deck board the user had in their cart.

    Solution

I created a short video demonstrating how to use the feature and what it was for. I sourced the voiceover (VO)  from a VO Agency, captured the website footage myself and edited the video together.

    Result

Usage of the feature increased around 30% leading to an increase in revenue from cross-sells. DIY Home Center also ran the video as an ad on social platforms to great success, I do not have access to those numbers.

  • Amerhart Foundation

    Challenge

Amerhart’s CEO wanted to showcase the charity and community support activities that Amerhart engaged in.

    Solution

Create a video interviewing the leaders of some of the most important non-profits in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area. I wrote scripts, filmed and edited the video.

    Result

A 4-minute video highlighting the charitable donations and other activities that the Amerhart Foundation was involved in.

  • Amerhart Wolf Decking Hulu Ad

    Challenge

Amerhart, a distributor of Wolf Home Products in Michigan, had an issue reaching homeowners on the Lake Michigan coast. Amerhart’s customers were lumberyards and big-box stores, and they didn’t know the best way to reach them.

    Solution

Utilizing co-op dollars, I drove down the west-coast of Michigan taking photos and videos of homeowner’s decks (with their written permission of course) to create an online campaign that included social media posts, a microsite, brochures for salespeople, and a Hulu ad. These would put the homeowners in contact with a local lumberyard who would purchase the decking from Amerhart.

    Result

I received great feedback and responses from the campaign both from salespeople and the online metrics. The Hulu ad and social media ads, which pointed to the microsite, saw over 100 homeowners contact local lumber yards to purchase decking for their homes.
